message from the Perth mint about lunar coins
I emailed the Perth mint asking them this
Hi my name is Adam and i have been buying your 1 ounce silver lunar series coins. I know that you have a 300,000 production limit of each 1 ounce silver coin, so I was wondering if there is a way for me to tell how many have been made of each coin. Even an estimated figure to the nearest thousand or ten thousand, since i know it constantly changes Thanks for the help Sincerely Adam The response i got back Hello Adam No, the mint will not advise where they are in a mintage These figures can change at any time as a mint will continue to strike according to demand until the mintage is completed regards Pauline Burns Customer Services Officer - Perth Mint Ph: (61) 8 9421 7218 Email: paulineb@perthmint.com.au Well i tried.....should be public info....but i guess so should the m3....lol |
Re: message from the Perth mint about lunar coins
I think it is so dynamic because if they have not reached the limit they can produce across years. So you could have for example a 2000 1oz silver dragon produced in 2006 if they were still below the 300000 limit.
